Welcome to the UACC Children’s Ministries Department. God has blessed our program with children of all ages, as we aim to shepherd each of them, and to lead, encourage and teach them in the way of the Lord.
Our goal is to model Christ’s example and to help raise our children in His ways. We are grateful to walk alongside families and be a part of the spiritual upbringing of the children in our church family, claiming the promise of Proverbs 22:6- “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” We thank God that UACC’s Children’s Department has been blessed with dozens of volunteers who take hours out of their week to prepare, guide and teach the younger generations.
Our program includes classrooms for children of all ages, from 2 year olds to High School Seniors. Currently we are using a curriculum called “Generations of Grace,” which goes through the bible in three years, from Genesis to Revelation. This allows for our Sunday Schoolers to learn from a young age how the Old Testament and New Testament fit together, His Redemptive History, how the Lord has been constantly and consistently working throughout time, how the same themes show up in the Old and New Testaments and much more.
Armenian Christian Heritage program
Join us on the first Sunday of each month, during the 10:30am service, as the 4 year olds through 8th graders journey back into our rich Armenian Evangelical Church history. We will take a look at the Armenian Church, from 301 A.D. until the present, covering such topics as Vartanantz, Armenian Christmas, the Armenian Evangelical Reformation Movement which started on July 1st, 1846, and much more.
Along with our Sunday School program, we have numerous ministry events that take place throughout the year – such as missions projects, weekly worship, special events like the Harvest Festival on October 31st, Vacation Bible School and much more.
Vacation Bible School takes place in the summer time, where children have the opportunity to spend the day at church, worshiping the Lord through learning music, interactive bible lessons, dramas, games, crafts, snacks and much more!
If you are not a part of our church family and are considering joining a church, please feel free to join us on Sunday mornings at 10:30am. If you have questions, contact the church office at firstname.lastname@example.org
